Chapelfield is a New Forest campsite, set on a well-drained field where we will be offering nicely set out, generously sized pitches over our main field with space for additional camping on the neighbouring Longfield at busier times.

Both fields are provided with great shelter by the beautiful trees and hedgerows that surround them.

We provide smart hot water showers and portaloo-style toilets that are kept scrupulously clean.  There is also hot water washing up at Chapelfield, a small 'pop-up' shop, free mobile device recharging, ice-pack 'refreezing', plenty of firewood to buy and fire-pits to rent and, of course,  a happy group of us who will always be about to help you.

Footpaths lead directly from Chapelfeld and many guests enjoy the fabulous walking and cycling routes that are all around us leading out into the New Forest, and to the local town of Fordingbridge. It's also possible to take a footpath directly into the Sandy Balls holiday village where many facilities are available.

Chapelfield is in Godshill, a small village set amongst open forest and woodland of the New Forest National Park, which is usually populated by many ponies and donkeys. The Fighting Cocks pub, which serves food all day, is a short stroll along a quiet lane.

We are just a mile or so from the small riverside town of Fordingbridge and within an easy drive of the many attractions in the New Forest area. The beautiful beaches around Southbourne are the nearest to Chapelfield and are about 30 minutes by car.

Small group bookings can be made but we're sorry that we do not accept stag or hen do's.

Dogs are very welcome at Chapelfield provided that they are well behaved, kept on a lead and that owners make sure that Chapelfield remains clean!

Our peaceful location means that we operate a no music policy and for a good night’s sleep we also operate a no noise policy after 11 pm.
